Life skills development at B&C Behavioral and Home Health Services combines all known resources (professional, family, social integration, etc.) to teach valuable skills among individuals with developmental disabilities. We employ a whole-person approach and provide a safe place for our clients to engage in meaningful activities. With the help of our multidisciplinary team, we offer levels 1 and 2 life skills development programs:
Life Skills Development Level I (Companion)
This program includes non-medical care services and develops social skills, preparing our clients for community integration. Depending on their interests and hobbies, we can provide one-on-one or group training accordingly.
Life Skills Development Level II (Supported Employment)
Job readiness is as important as ever, especially for persons with developmental disabilities. Our level 2 life skills development prepares them for employment by teaching 21st-century skills. We can also help them find the right resources to build a business should they want to.
